FCGFIRESIDECHAT AT BERLIN FASHION WEEK

“Berlin Fashion Week is THE focal point when it comes to zeitgeist – especially everything related to sustainability, innovative technologies and networks. Therefore, it is more important than ever to become aware of these values and their significance for the future. With our FCGFIRESIDECHATs, we would like to give this a higher weighting within the framework of BFW” says Mandie Bienek (Chairman of the FCG Board).

The Fashion Council Germany traditionally hosted the FCGFIRESIDECHAT during the first day of Berlin Fashion Week at Hotel Zoo. With the support of the five editorial teams BUNTE, GQ, HARPER’S BAZAAR, ICON and VOGUE, the networking event welcomed 175 guests from the fashion industry, well-known creative people and celebrities such as Marie Nasemann, Franziska Knuppe, Wana Limar, Mandy Bork, Nadine Warmuth, Bettina Zimmermann, Anja Kling, Lea van Acken and Minh-Khai Phan-Thi.

The hosts of the evening Christiane Arp (VOGUE GERMANY), Inga Griese (ICON), Constantin Herrmann (GQ), Robert Pölzer (BUNTE) and Kerstin Schneider (HARPER’S BAZAAR) discussed together with Mark Bezner (Olymp), Thorsten Mindermann (H&M), Alexandra Bondi de Antoni (Vogue.de), Petra Fladenhofer (KaDeWe), Gina Condé (Liebeskind), Kerstin Pooth (Jack Wolfskin), Daniel Terberger (KATAG), William Fan (Designer), Ramona Pop (Senator for Economics, Energy and Businesses), Dorothee Bär (State Minister for Digital Affairs), Michelle Müntefering (State Minister at the Federal Foreign Office) and others various topics regarding sustainability, networks and technology.

Scott Lipinski (CEO of the FCG) commented on the exceptional support for the media partnerships as follows: “The Council is very pleased with the great media partnership for this FCGFIRESIDECHAT. The aim and intention of our event is to network and bring together industry representatives, which is what this cooperation between publishing houses and editorial offices symbolizes. Cohesion is one of the important factors that FCG is constantly striving to expand within the German fashion industry.”
