BEAUTY is the power word
What is Beauty? What does it mean? What does it have to do with the health of your mind?
I asked the community to describe beauty. Many of them said it was a physical attribute and is often described in artificial terms. Many of you openly and thoughtfully stated that beauty is a source for inner conflict, especially for women. It’s often associated to appearance. Many people highlighted the struggles of girls and women with this idea of beauty and the images society portrays as beautiful. Although we are slowly shifting that perception in some areas and in smaller parts, there is still a tendency to see certain images as “beauty”. We hope to continue our efforts towards changing this.
Let me share with you my definition of beauty. As some people believe, beauty is an inherent quality or characteristic. It’s an inner, natural kind of sparkle that is the essence of everything. It’s a quality that I believe is present in everyone and everything. A quote I once heard said that beauty is not in the eyes, but in the heart. That is something I deeply believe in.
Beauty is something I see on a larger scale. I think it is a larger scale than most. Even if you aren’t exactly where you want to be as mompreneur, a mom, or a woman, it doesn’t mean your life can’t be enjoyable and beautiful. The best thing about it is that you don’t have to do anything in order to make it beautiful. It will be beautiful if you just shift your perspective. You just need to open your eyes and appreciate the simple things in life. It’s about seeing things differently. That is mind power at its highest essential capacity. (And you know that this is where I am from).
There are always opportunities and miracles around us, but we don’t recognize them. They come to us so subtly and gracefully. Every breath, every movement and every circumstance that creates the possibility for you to live right now are beautiful experiences. Sometimes we get too caught up in our to-do lists or lose sight of the fact that there is nothing really important. It’s possible to see beauty in every moment. It starts in your head.
The first tip is to practice listening. Listening is essential. It is difficult to recognize life’s wonderful moments. We often don’t stop and listen to what’s going on around us.
A second tip for improving your outlook on the world is to be non-judgmental. You may think you know this, but the truth is that most people don’t. Every day, we automatically judge and criticize many things and people – sometimes without even realizing it.
A second tip is to look for beauty in the smallest things in your life. This is something children are very good at, don’t you think? Children are able to see the world differently than we do. They love things that we take as a given. You will be amazed at how beautiful everything is if you take the time to look. The trees that move gently with the wind. The leaves falling to ground. The birds singing, the water flowing (one my favorite). If you take a moment to notice, even the simplest things can have profound beauty.
For your relationships, find the beauty in each other. The presence of others enriches your life. It is a good idea not to have any expectations, but to be open to the possibility of seeing the people in your life. You may be surprised at the things you don’t know about them.
Your perceptions about yourself and beauty are important for your business. Regardless of whether you like it, how you feel about yourself is what you will communicate to others. It doesn’t matter what you think or how you feel about yourself, it is the message you send to others. Think about how you feel about the business. Your business will reflect how you feel about it. Consider how you feel about those you serve. Is this genuine? Is it true? If we see life, relationships and our ability to make a difference in the world through a career as beautiful gifts, then it is. These are the principles that will guide your life and help you to achieve wealth. These principles will help you to live fully, be authentic and develop fully. You can see the beauty in life when you close your eyes. Because mind health is what makes life rich.
