Soccer is so unpredictable. It’s full of many unexpected turns. You never know what’s going to happen from one moment to the next.

Many people try to make a name in this game. Some people are not able to achieve world-record status.

Here are just some of the people who succeeded on the field.

Pele, the legendary Brazilian soccer player, could be our first choice. Edison Arantes Do Nacimento Pele, who was only 15 at the time, made his first world cup appearance and scored a few goals. International Olympic committee gave Pele the honor of being the athlete of Century.

Pele has managed to achieve an astonishing 1,000 goals during a career that spans a quarter-century. Time magazine named him one of 100 most influential people of 20th Century.

Diego Maradona, Argentina’s Pele-like counterpart, was Diego Maradona. He had amazing footwork and was a great player on the soccer pitch.
