On 21st July 2019 the Fashion Council Germany, together with its partners The NRW Design Issue and the City of Düsseldorf, invited to an exclusive FCGFIRESIDEBRUNCH. With this new networking concept the FCG extends ist popular event series FCGFIRESIDECHAT.

In the newly opened location Greger in Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen, up-and-coming brands and designers, including JEN MM DESIGN, JotJot Fashion, Marianna Déri Fashion, Modemanufaktur Ludwig, Opaak, Katharina Beilstein, Aleks Kurkowski, Second Skin Studio, Maryvonne Wellen Jewellery and CANO, were given the opportunity to present their keylooks to a selected audience from the fashion and creative industries. Within this framework an interdisciplinary exchange took place and new impulses for the fashion industry were set.

The invited guests were welcomed by John Cloppenburg (FCG steering committee), Claudia Jericho (Creative.NRW) and Thomas Geisel, Lord Mayor of the City of Düsseldorf:

“The fashion location Düsseldorf stands for diversity and creativity. You will find an outstanding concentration of trade fairs, companies, showrooms, brands and designers, which now reaches its peak during the CPD Order Days. As an innovative business location with an exciting and growing start-up environment, Düsseldorf also offers creative fashion start-ups and young fashion designers an extremely interesting environment for setting up and settling companies. The event FiresideBrunch connects the fashion industry with young designers and innovative start-ups for the second time during the CPD Order Days in Düsseldorf. With the Firesidebrunch we can make the potential offered by young designers in Düsseldorf, NRW and throughout Germany visible“. – Thomas Geisel, Lord Mayor of the state capital Düsseldorf

We would like to thank our partners The NRW Design Issue and the City of Düsseldorf for the great cooperation, as well as our guests for the successful day and interesting exchange!
