Berlin Fashion Week Recap

From 14 to 17 January 2019 the motto in the German capital was once again: Berlin Fashion Week! Since the founding of the Fashion Council Germany in 2015, the Fashion Week has played a significant role in making fashion designed in Germany visible and promoting it, in terms of young fashion talents as well as FCG’s other core concerns education, sustainability and fashion technology.

At the same time, the FCG has established itself as one of the driving forces behind the fashion week: A large number of fashion events, panel discussions, lobby and network events initiated by the Fashion Council Germany in cooperation with key players from the world of fashion and politics, once again represented a status quo of the current programmes, initiatives and achievements of the German fashion industry during Berlin Fashion Week – and at the same time gave an outlook for the future.  What has been achieved, what is being worked on, what needs to be improved in the long term?
